Our Services for Laboratory Vessels, Optical Filters and ICP Accessories
We offer additional services besides our comprehensive product range. These services could be ordered together with the product or separately. Please see below an overview. We appreciate to advice you if you have any questions about our services.
Laser Engraving and Marking
With our laser-labeling system we are able to apply your individual engraving permanently on nearly all surfaces. The laser-beam modifies the surface or the interior of the material, so that a high contrast appears between the marked and non-marked regions. Furthermore, the labelling can contain everything, starting from a simple text to a bar- or QR-Code or even logos and images.
Single objects can have a size of up to 70x70 mm and at the same time we can write structures, in which the smallest features are smaller than 50 µm. This makes is possible to execute micro-marking, in which the font size is smaller than 0.4 mm.
Test Our Products Free of Charge!
In many cases we can offer you to test optical filters and filter sets in standard dimensions, LED light sources and image splitters free of charge for up to 30 days. Filtersets could also be assembled together to fit best to your application. Please contact us to find the best solution for your setup (e.g. microscope, camera, etc.)!
Quality Check of Optical Filters
You want existing optical filters to be checked regarding condition and spectral performance? No problem – we can check them! Our measurement capabilities are within the wavelength range 190 – 900 nm regarding transmission or 250 – 800 nm regarding optical density (OD), respectively. The results will be listed in a measurement report, which you can also get in an electronic mode (ASCII, JCAMP, Excel). Not all filter sizes could be measured, however this will of course be checked with you in advance.
Further we are able to measure the flatness of optical components, especially of beamsplitters, up to lambda/10. The abberations will clearly be represented to you in a table and as a chart in an electronical mode.
Mounting of Filter Sets or Filters
We offer filter sets already mounted in filter cubes for all common types of microscopes or image splitters from Zeiss, Olympus, Leica, Nikon, Hund, Motic, Keyence, CAIRN or Hamamatsu. Original filter cubes or sliders could directly be purchased from us with mounted filter and/or filter sets. We also could offer cubes and sliders for some older microscope types. We are able to adjust beamsplitters on our optical bank using a laser and could offer mounting of filter sets in filter cubes pixelshift-free to other sets in comparison. To maintain the flatness of beamsplitters we could fix them with minimized stress by glueing into the holder. For some microscopes special filter cubes besides the standard ones are available which allow different mounting options.
This service is also available for filters, which are used for flow cytometry (FACS).
For old instrument types where spare parts are not available any more we could offer to replace the holders with new filters or beamsplitters in the required sizes. Therefore, you could continue to use this "old, but beloved" item for some years.
Inspection of ICP Nebulizers
You are not sure, if your nebulizer still behaves in an optimal way? Please ask us and we would like to check your nebulizer for proper functionality! This includes the measuring of the flow rate at different pressure conditions. Additionally we will check your nebulizer with our microscope for potential material defects.
ICP Repair & Refurbishing
Accessories for sample introduction systems of ICP instruments have a limited lifespan and have to be repaired after some time. We would like to check for you if a repair could be done and would still make sense. We will then take care of the repairs processing with the manufacturer.
As cost-saving service we offer you the refurbishing of Platin cones. These cones have a much longer lifetime compared to cones made of Nickel. Often, they could be refurbished many times to regain their optimal properties. Thus, you could continue to use them and you would save a lot of money.
