Acid-resistant Laboratory Heating Plates / Hot Plates
Ideal for Sample Preparation in Ultra-trace Analysis
The robust laboratory hotplates are made of metal-free graphite and coated with PFA (perfluoroalkoxy polymer). This makes them acid-resistant and also very suitable for chemically aggressive laboratory environments. They are versatile and flexible in use, typically for sample digestion or sample evaporation. Heating temperatures up to +250 °C are possible and the heat is homogeneously distributed over the heating plate. Various heating plate sizes are available, including custom sizes.
In addition, they can be equipped with PFA-coated graphite supports (racks) into which sample vessels can be placed. This allows for wet digestion and applications in isotope analysis or isotope dilution analysis. Temperature controllers, including programmable ones, are also available.
