Polar Guard Module
Preserves Light Polarization
Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy, interferometry or quantum optics often require a well-defined polarization state of the incident light, which can be distorted by optical components such as mirrors or beam splitters. Until now, correcting these wavelength-dependent distortions has required considerable effort, typically using active systems.
The brand new, patented Polar Guard module preserves the light’s polarization state in a simple and efficient way. It automatically compensates for unwanted distortions and requires only conventional passive optical components such as mirrors, dichroic filters, beamsplitters which are mounted into the module.

The innovative module at a glance
- Preserves polarization for transmitted and reflected light beams
- Reflected beam 90 °, beam axis is retained
- Free selection of beam splitters or mirrors (3 pcs. in 14 x 9 mm)
- Standard size for 30 mm cage systems with 7 mm free aperture
- The free aperture can be adapted to existing systems
